Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Andrew and I had a very full weekend. I feel like we need a weekend from our weekend! Luckily, for me, the weekend was packed full of yoga fun! I taught my usual Friday class at Elevate Community Yoga, and after, headed downtown to the Dragonfly Art for Life Studio - which recently opened in Modesto on J street. I met with the owner, Barbara, to discuss bringing free 30 minute lunch-time yoga classes to the community. Barbara seemed excited about the idea. I am very excited about it, but I will touch more on this later!
Saturday was also a busy day, but the highlight was definitely my Classic Rock Yoga Experience at Elevate! 30 people showed up to rock n' flow and it was so fun. I was a nervous wreck the whole time, but it was a good nervous. I'm trying to branch out and do new things in regards to yoga. This was a good start. A couple weeks ago, I subbed for a heated Vinyasa flow class at Excel Crossfit in Manteca. This was definitely something new for me! Tayoga is branching out!
Adding on to the new things I tried recently: yesterday, I helped assist as my friend, Brittnie King, taught a Beer and Yoga event at Blaker Brewing in Ceres, CA. Beer and yoga is the perfect combination in my opinion! Two of my favorite things! I'm hoping to help a buddy brew a beer so I can do my own Beer and Tayoga. What do you think?
Keep your eyes peeled for new Tayoga in the area! You never know what I will come up with next! I am also open to ideas so please let me know if you have any. Have a great week!
